http://www.ebay.com/bhp/waterfall-furniture

Hi there !!  Your sideboard is 1930`s to early 40`s !!  While not exactly what is known as waterfall style it still shows the curvature common to that era and the nice veneers !!  The curved surfaces were many times made of plywood steamed and formed then covered with better quality veneers !!  Many mfrs made this style so no way to know which one made yours  !!  Furniture is not commonly marked by maker but sometimes has information on the back or inside of a drawer !! You can see the similarities in the link above but the prices are out of line on most listings !!  Value would be in the $200. to $300. range !!

Yep, definitely book matched. Agree with Mart on value.

Dang, wood like that for $200-300 bucks, you couldn't buy the veneer for that!

Beautiful piece!  The veneer is exceptionally gorgeous!  Agree on Art Deco and a waterfall feature.

HOWEVER, I believe that this is a Dry Bar and not a sideboard/buffet.  (If you search Antique Art Deco Drybar Liquor Cabinet you will see many kinds.)  It has the sliding glass feature that is often found in the more expensive pieces.  I also think that this could have been a custom piece (and would love to hear what it could say if it could talk)!  Because of this I would value it $450 - $600 (depending on condition).

Can you please post a picture of it with the doors open?  Thanks!

Many times the bottom drawer of antique Dry Bars, Liquor Cabinets and Sideboards were lined with metal/lead so that wine could be chilled in it.

You know,, it could be a bar KC !!  I didn`t think the glassed area looked tall enough for that !!  But just now looked again and noticed the backboard that is only located in the center section and not on the ends,, that would not be typical for a sideboard !!  Would love to see the doors and drawers opened !!

Looks like Biedermeier. It's of that quality.
