I HAVE A SET OF THE ABOVE NAMED 6 PRINTS STAMPED REINTHAL & NEWMAN PUBS N.Y., AND IT IS HARD TO SEE SIGNATURE OF ARTIST, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE ALBERT JAMES DEWEY, BUT NOT QUITE SURE.
THEY ARE IN MATTED FRAME, DARK, WITH A TAN COLOR MAT WHICH SAYS "LIFE'S EVENTFUL HOURS" AND EACH PRINT IS MARKED WITH NAME AND IN BLOCKS WITH APPROX. 1 INCH IN BETWEEN. IT MEASURES 25 1/2" X 8 3/4".
THERE ARE A FEW MARKS ON FRAME BUT IT IS IN REALLY VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR THE AGE. I WAS TOLD IT WAS FROM THE 1920S. IT HAS A FEW LINES ON EDGES OF MAT THAT LOOKS LIKE DIRT OR DUST. IT IS NOT WATER DAMAGE.
REALLY GREAT SHAPE.
CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH THIS?
I AM NOT QUITE SURE OF THE ARTIST'S LAST NAME, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE DEWEY.
PLEASE, EMAIL WITH ANY INFORMATION ON THIS ITEM.
THANKS FOR YOUR HELP. IT IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.
