I've had this item I know about 25 years,found this in a gabage stack.Hand carved out of wood.I'm not sure but this figure appears to be an African American man with what look like letters or initials under the bootom.The bottom look like it once had ink on it.Anybody ever came across a similar one.Maybe an old primitive seal stamp.
