I have a picture that was given to me as a gift and am trying to find out it's value. I was told this is a etching. Approximate size 16x10, in color of 3 Orchid's each orchid looks framed and the linen or paper that this is done on is raised around each frame. The Orchid's are not actually raised but, are beautifully colored. At the bottom of the picure it states in pencil Orchid Series #2 18/100 the artist name in the bottom left corner is hard to read due to penmanship. I can make out the J. C.....maybe Carter Coster....beside the artist name is 83. If any one has any ideas on how I can get further info on this or where to go to find out the value of this I would very much appreciate it.
