Sadly silverplated items often don't have a very high re-sale value.  But I advise people to just hang onto them and keep them polished.  Silverplate will eventually swing back into fashion.  

All it would take is some popular celebrity extolling the virtues of their silverplate collection and it would be flying off the shelves.  Just like when Martha Stewart popularized FireKing jadeite kitchen ware.  Best wishes in your search - KB
