bone china
« on: March 24, 2006, 10:15:39 am »
I have interest in finding out the value of several pieces, they are tea cups - each numbered - Windsor 1207/83/E - black w/roses, gold edged.  Adderley H1683 - white w/pink rose, gold trimmed. Adderley H850 - black stripped white tea cup w/deep pink roses, gold trimmed. The last one is Shelley 0606/384 - emerald green, gold trimmed with fruit painted inside the cup.  Each comes with its own matching saucer.  They have been in my family for many years.  I'd like to find the value of these if anyone is able to help me, or possibly direct me to where I may.  Thank you.....

These are quality English bone china - In a shop in my area they would likely be $25 - $35 per set - possibly more for the Shelley -

and they're fairly easily searchible - they are called tea sets also called duos - but try your sets by brand on a google search - then when you find a site that carries vintage tea sets in your brand you can search for the pattern number -

a couple of replacement sites I use:

www.replacements.co m     and    www.edish.com    and

www.robbinsnest.com         best wishes,  KB
