Hand Carved Table

I recently received a hand-carved dark wooden table from China circa 1913.  It is in excellent condition and has a pinkish marble in-laid top.  It is the size of an end table.  The story behind it is that it was carried out of China by the father of the lady that gave it to me.  She is 89 years old.  I'm looking for any information on the table; kind of wood used; approximate value; and names of any individuals that may deal in this type of furniture.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.  Please contact me at denise1091@hotmail.com.  Thank you.
