Help Indentifying a Dining Room Set
« on: April 19, 2007, 08:04:36 am »
Hi,
I am trying to decide what to do with a piece of furniture and I was hoping someone out here mught have some suggestions.

I have a Mahagony Dining room set made in Boston circa 1925, I beleive it to be handmade because I can see the chisel marks under the table where the legs bolt to the table top. The table top is in excellent condition as it has been covered with custom fit pads since it was purchased.

The chairs need to be refinished but are solid and stable, it was reupholstered in the 40's, I have included a picture of the Arm chair as that has more detail and hopefully would be easier to identify. I also have the Buffet Table with it as well.

Thanks for any assitiance you can give.
