I found this ceramic ashtray, That resembles an old man with a black beanie or a Yamaka  He is laughing with a fly on his nose. The mouth is open as to put a cigarette into it. Can anyone tell me anything about this piece.

With out a pic, hard to say,  pre 1940 Germany, post 1945 Japan ?
Any marks on bottom?
