Antique Jeweled Hand Mirror

I have a beautiful hand mirror, it is very heavy and the back is covered with amethyst  stones.  The mirror is beveled.  The back also has four  ladies head arouund it.  The ornate metal has some green , I think from age, it measures about 14 1/2" long and 6 " wide at top.  Any idea of age or value?

Very pretty! Check the stones with a high power mag glass, you may see bubbles. I think possibly it is colored glass.
