My husband and I were given a set of china that has 16 complete place settings, in addition to all kinds of serving dishes, gravy boat, etc.. The set has "Fine China of Japan" on the back and the pattern name and number are "Vintage 6701". We are missing one salt (or pepper, I'd have to check for certain) shaker, and one teacup has a tiny chip. Everything else is in perfect condition.
I'm trying to find out info regarding when this pattern was in circulation, and anything about the company that made it. I've done numerous searches on the internet and can only find sites that want to sell me replacements - not offer any info on dates, company, etc.
