Extensole drop leaf table
« on: January 19, 2008, 07:48:01 pm »
I have a 40s-era Mahogany Extensole (Sparta, Mich.) drop-leaf dining room table with two 8-inch inserts that just won't fit in our smallish home anymore. It's in pretty good shape and I'd hate to see it go to waste. Should I just cart it around to antique shops and see if they would want it? WOULD they want it at all? If so, approximately what would be a fair price for something like that?  I'm quite a novice at this sort of thing, so any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

They aren't too hot yet. At auction in nice condition, $100-$150. a dealer would offer about 1/2 that........that's without looking at it though..... 8)
