I have what appears to be an antique fireplace style clock.
The works are stamped Louis Boname Seloncourt DOUBS and it is numbered 532.
It is a key wound clock with chimes.
The pendulum is a tri-footed pot of the type that used to be used in fireplaces.
My question is: Has anyone ever seen a clock like this one before? I've researched the web and can't find any info on it.
Also, I would like to know whether the pendulum is a homemade afterthought or whether it would have been part of the original clock?
