Travel Cups?

Hello,

We purchased this set of cups at a yard sale. As you can see, they stack and fit into a wonderful leather case. The only mark is the 'made in canada' writing on the bottom of each cup. The sellers think they might have been 'travel cups', I am interested in verifying this and possibly dating them.

We are not sure what they are made of- possibly stainless steel, and the interior may be brass plated, it has a golden hue.

I googled "travel cups w/leather case" and at Amazon.com there is a 4 pc. stainless steel shot cups with a leather case that looks similiar to the ones you have.  Yours are prettier.  I can't tell if yours would be shot cups or not, but that's a thought.  I copied and pasted the page below.
