Just wondered if anyone has information and approximate values on a few bits I have here.
I have absolutely no idea about any of them really, and have tried google but to find not a lot of info
First I have a book,
Hans Christian Andersen - Fairy Tales.
From what I can gather it was published in 1900 by William Heinemann,
Translated by H.L Braekstad,
Illustrated by Hans Tegner,
and has an introduction by Edmund Gosse.
It has 19 stories and has a dedication in the front to Her
Royal Highness The Princess of Wales.
Also says First Series.
As you can see, the outside of the book isn't too great, but inside is pretty good.

complete with case and magnifying glass.
I am led to beleive that this is from 1894 ish?? not exactly sure on that......
I have posted a photo next to a penny to make it easier to see the size of this little book
I also have a coin/medal, it has a raised picture on the one side of a person whom
I beleive to be Joan of Arccarrying a flag, and also the words DEV FORTITDVO MEA and FREMIET.
On the other side is a raised image of what looks like a kind of trophy, but not exactly sure what it is and also the words EQVES EQVITVM, I managed to find that EQVES means cavalryman if this helps?
Cant be sure if it is actually Joan of Arc by the way
Thankyou for any help. x
