I was stationed in Iran in the 1970's (Isfahan). I purchased an antique Iranian baby hammock (Nanno) at the bazaar. It's all leather and trimmed with velvet. The rods that the ropes are attached to are inscribed with paintings, Still has the old ropes and old rusty hooks attached.
