Henry Rogers and Sons, Sheffield mother of pearl fish set
« on: July 22, 2008, 06:57:58 am »
This 24 piece knife and fork fish set with mother of pearl handles is hallmarked EPNS. It belonged to my grandmother. Does anyone know the value of this set? It is either Edwardian or Victorian. In original wooden case with red velvet lining. Inside case is  a plaque which reads "Henry Rogers Sons & Co. H.R.S&CO Manufacturers Sheffield" with a British flag and crown. The blades of the knifes and the flat surface at the base of the tines of the forks are engraved with a floral design. Perfect condition. Case has minor scratches.

Epns is electro plated nickel silver. the set was made about circa 1900. it would sell in the range $125.00 dollars to $150.00 dollars.
