Limoges Porcelain
« on: September 06, 2008, 05:36:04 pm »
Hello:
I have a Limoges Pitcher & Bowl set that was handed down from my great aunt to my Mom who has passed away so I have no history on it.  There is a large pitcher and bowl set , a small pitcher and what I believe to be a soap dish.  On the bottom is stamped Limoges Porcelain, with O.C.C.O. stamped above Limoges.  I'm attaching a picture if anyone can give me any information or history on it, I would greatly apprciate it.  Thank you,

Tim

Ohio China Co., East Palestine, Ohio. American Limoges, circa early 1900's. In the 1940's the French Limoges threatened to sue and the Limoges China Co.added 'American' to their name.
