Pianos
« on: October 05, 2008, 01:48:27 pm »
I have an immaculate groton steinweg upright grand piano which is dated 1908. It has been in the family for the past 100 years and is a magnificent piece of furniture! The candelabre is all still firmly attached and the ivory keys are perfect. Not sure what sort of wood it is made of but all i can tell you is it is light brown in colour. Inside it is set out exactly the same as a grand piano. It stands 5'6 roughly. I beleive on the piano lid it says steinweg nacht! Not sure what this means but all i know is that it is the predisessor of the famous steinway piano.

Does anybody have any idea what sort of money this would be worth!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thankyou
Dave
