Limoges Vase
« on: July 17, 2009, 12:06:30 pm »
I have a vase that use to belong to my Mother who got it after her Mother died. It originally belonged to my Grandmothers sister who had been married to an artist in the 1920's or 1930's by the name of Louis Falk. He use to paint fine porcelain.

Distinguishing marks or signature (e.g. artist's name, silver hallmark):
Limoges France B&Co
Size and dimensions of this item:
H. 13.5", Top 5.5", Bottom 6.5", Middle 3.75" wide

If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate any information on my vase.

Your hallmark indicates that the vase was made by Beruardaud & Company , c. 1914 - 1930's .

Nice Vase, That is a intresting shade of Green and at the top of the vase looks almost opaque, Green glass looking.  This is Porcelain Right?  I just find that shade of green very intresting. Limoges and hand guilded I assume wonderful green, Wow I'm starting to really like this piece.  Not sure I could place a price value on this but would sure like to hear approx value, my pricing spreadsheet would give this quite the value.  :o
