The subject and original artist of the design:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amos_Cassioli

Listed under Bavaria Winterling Mark:

Taken from: http://www.porzellanservice.com/en/informationen/_2003_0-W-0-name-40/herstellerdatenbank-porzellan.html

"Name:   Winterling Kirchenlamitz
 Place:   Kirchenlamitz
Brand:   W under crown, Winterling, Kirchenlamitz, Bavaria"

Paragraph '6' under the section dated - 1917 to 1974 :

Wish I actually "knew" some of this stuff......but it sure is interesting looking it up.   ;)

Good job sapphire!  One more place on last sites....http://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/bavaria/kirchenlamitz_1/00.php

So, according to this (correct me if I am wrong Chris Marshall) the plate was made after 1920 if it was made at this facility as indicated?
