Cool trinket box.  My guess is post 70's but not sure.  Looks chrome, it also appears to have a painted pink inside, would this be correct.  What is the size of the item.  However it would be considered repossed not engraved.  That was stamped into the metal.  Not sure what it use was but little boxes does have a good collector base, many people buy little boxes that are unique, and this is unique.

It is painted pink on the inside. It's very small -- about five inches wide. I'll probably sell it for a few bucks. Thanks for letting me know about the repossed/engraved difference. Good way for me to start learning about these things.
