That sure looks a lot like it, good eyes! That would fit in with it being Army instead of Cavalry. Horses pulling a load with a harness instead of carrying a passenger with a saddle.

BUT  Army is Calvary!  Many, many years ago when my brother took over command of the 1st Calvary at Ft. Hood they had him ride in on a horse behind 6 riders hooting/hollering and shooting their guns - with a chuck wagon coming in behind him (with a dog on it as well) and then a group of riders (all of these wore Calvary wear) and then followed by tanks!  He had to do a ceremony on horseback with swords with the outgoing commander!  Pretty traditional stuff!  He had to even cut the cake with a sword!  Miss those days when he was near by!  They need to move the Pentagon closer to me, don't you think?
I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!
