Chinese Porcelain doll
« on: December 19, 2003, 10:55:06 pm »
My sister received a Chinese Porcelain doll from our late aunt who smuggled it out of Communist China about 1964.  I am looking for information on how to go about researching its origins and how much it might be worth.

The doll has no unique identifying marks at all.  My Great Aunt died, shortly after leaving Communist China, in New Guinea.  In the letter she sent with the doll she only said that she would explain the story of the doll.

:( stephen with out the story. and no Id mark's. we could not put a value on your' doll. except what you would expct to pay as and import. $25.00 dollars or so. but I would suggest if you have the letter I would put it in safe keeping for further study.
