I went through my grandma's old jewelry boxes and found this naval-type pin and two bracelets. The big cuff bracelet has no marks and has a big "E" engraved on it. My grandma's name is Ellen. I think it's sterling because it's still super shiny with very little tarnish. It's from the 1940's-50's because my mom said my grandma had it before she was born, and my mom was born in '58.
The other bracelet is an itty bitty baby bracelet. It is marked sterling with a symbol. I believe my mom said it was from one of her sisters. And her sisters are 20+ years older than she is. So maybe 1930's-ish?
I don't know anything about the pin, but it's pre-1950's...I think. All the newspaper clippings in the box are from the 1950's.
Anybody know anything about these or if they are worth anything?
By the way, my grandma is 93...if that makes a difference. My grandpa never once bought her anything brand new, everything was used and second-hand. I would just go ask my grandma about all of her things, she's still very mentally stable. But then she will just ask for everything back. She always does and with her being in an assisted living house, we can't give her back all of these items. She'd end up losing them or giving them away.
