Misty Sunrise

We have an original water colour painting called Misty Sunrise by an artist named M Davies.  The painting was given to my grandparents in appx 1925 by, we understand, the artist.  We know nothing more except we believe that the artist was a lady and we assume was in or around the Manchester area (England).  Anybody any idea?
