John Millspaugh was a painter & etcher of the late 19th century .

Does yours have a copyright date of 1889 & a stamp of "No. 480" on it , honey1432 ?

Also , what are the general dimentions of your item (etching only , not the frame size , please) ?

The condition of your etching does have a fair amount to do with its' value .

I don't have the pic right here, but these are a few pics that I took of it...

the back of the picture says Just Published
    "Late Summer"
Artist's Etchings ByJno. H. Millspaugh
Published By Radtke Lauckner & Co, New York

the pic is signed by Jno. H. Millspaugh..

does this give you any more of an idea?  thanx

Thank you for posting the images , honey1432 .

Nice little etching , perhaps showing some effects from humidity .

If you're considering selling your item , or want a bit more concise info on value , perhaps you could contact either Gary or Kris at/from their website : 19thcenturyantiquet chings.com   .

I've seen prices vary quite a bit in the 'etchings market' , depending on the venue where they're put up for sale .

Keep in mind that a hands-on inspection of your item will , in almost all cases , be required by any buyer .

Retail prices are difficult to obtain by individual/private parties without lots of experience , generally , IMO .
