I have an unusual French wind up wall clock with a wooden dark wood ornate case. It says Brevette and tells the day, date, month and time. Does anyone know anything about clocks like this one?

Thank you for the welcome. The clock is presently being cleaned and adjusted so it will be fine tuned. I will post some photos when I get it back from the shop.

The shop can probably tell you about it's history/value.

Just for information purposes - brevete is a french word derivative that means patented.  So, this still doesn't tell us the maker.

talesof has it right on...the shop should be able to tell you the manufacturer, date, information, etc.
