For starters , IMO , these two portraits were done by different artists .
The painting of the male was done with a more critical/dimentional eye than the portrait of the female (proportional accuracy of the physiology of the aspects of the human face differ considerably) .
I'd suggest that you inspect , with a 10x (or higher) magnifying glass/loupe , both painting & look for the same types of brush-strokes .
I suspect that you'll find that they differ quite a bit .
That being said , I'll agree with hosman321 about really liking to view a few images of the backs of your paintings , so as to have a few more clues to go on .
They are certainly a couple of cool-looking items .
