Hi, had some old farming stuff give to me, would like any information on it thats possible, and maybe the value, the transplanter says "New Idea" its a company from Coldwater Ohio, and it also says "Lot No. T66. Any information is much Appreciated, Thanks in advance.

Edit-If anyone would know of a website that I could check these on that would be great also, any links or anything attached to them.

Welcome to the forum troxelld! Did a quick search and here's one hit that might give you some info on your transplanter.  The first response to the original post mentions they had a Lot no. T67, which was purchased new in 1939.  If you scan through more of the replies you will likely find some more helpful info. As the site is "Yesterday's Tractor" there should also be useful links and of course the forum itself. May help out with both your pieces.

Hi, and thank you for the welcome, I've searched all the posts in your link and still nothing, it talks of the newer trans planters on into the posts, but you've gotten me close then i got myself, hopefully someone will come along and tell me exactly what they're worth, as Ive had several offers, but not knowing what they're worth makes me skeptical, thanks again.

New Idea history....tells how it got it's name and how it started as a manure spreader company in 1899!!! States that the first transplantor was introduced in 1912 and another in 1924....

Box 229, Coldwater, OH  45822-0229, Telephone: (419) 586-4839, FAX: (304) 586-4840, to ascertain information on the age of the Model 10 manure spreader.  Wally McDougall is a very good source of information on the New Idea Company and any of its products.
