I have one like this, I love these! Prices jump all over the place, sometimes they go for $150 on ebay and sometimes $30. If yours is missing the glass globe, I'd say it's worth around $40-$60. But that's today, who knows about tomorrow. ;)

Thanks.  He's got so many of the glass globes and hurricanes(?) laying around... Iwouldn't know which one would work?  :-[

Marcylove, most any of the globes will work, except for the tall skinny ones, they are moreso for the Alladin lamps.

But now I really like that enamelware (granitware) tray. That is a beauty,  ;D ;D

It will feel a lot better than tin if you get it appraised by a collector.  ;D

I love the ones with the mercury glass reflectors. Here's mine. I need to strip it and repaint it though, there's about 5 different layers of paint. Are those pics yours merrifield or did you find them online?

Hosman, upon seeing the picture of your lamp and not being able to see how high up the wall it is mounted ...... I just want to caution you that if the top of the globe is not a couple feet away from the ceiling ...... then don't you be lighting it ..... unless you have a Smoke Bell or "heat deflector" 8" to 10" above the top of the globe.

I promise it's far enough from the ceiling, it's about 3 feet down. :) Our ceiling is slanted pretty sharply.
When I lit it the first time I let it burn for about 10-15 minutes. I got on the step ladder and put my hand far above it, the heat doesn't reach the ceiling. Thanks for the concern!
