Just another question on the pencil letters...I came across an old photo today and on the back was the guy's name, E.D.Davidson. Looking at the cursive writing in the second example, I would not know that was only an "E" and a "D". If just the last name of Davidson was written, I would have thought there were two letters before "avidson", like maybe a P and a D. I just wonder if there is not something going on like that with sapphire's penciled signature. Maybe there is only one capital letter before Dauding, Dawding, or Duding. Food for thought.
