Thanks! You are both a great help. I suspected something like that. Now to break it to Mom... It is a family piece that I am trying to track the history on. Yes, obviously Mom was remembering wrong. So I have to try to find a way to ask her to try to remember some more about it without making her feel bad.
Do you think there any way to find out more about the company, like what stores sold their products? Are they the same company that makes the products from Japan? I haven't been able to find out anything about them on the internet.
