Rocking Chair

I have been trying to find out information on this chair. I know it was made by Stomps-Burkhardt between 1890-1928, the the tag on the bottom of the chair is ripped so i dont know the model number.  if anyone knows the model number,year it was made or the value of this chair it would be helpful

Welcome to the forum dcoyler!  

Hard to get any detail from your pics due to size, but I came across this thread on another site. It's dedicated to the Stomps-Burkhardt chairs and if you sign up and contact Wilhemina (see last post on page 2) you'll likely have some good luck with answers....though it's possible someone on here may actually be familiar with the maker and models they produced.

Found their catalogue from February 1894.  Bit of a pain enlarging each page, but not too difficult to figure it out (If I did, you certainly can).  Maybe you'll come across yours there and get a model number if it was manufactured around that time.

This one might be a little easier to work with.  But a pain to load.

Use the 'page' symbols next to the - ________+ sign, just above the large picture, to adjust size for viewing (have to do this for each page you choose....another pain )
