First point is China Sets are hard to sell, Ebay would require you to ship something that is not only expensive shipping Cost, but really hard to pack safetly, I did it once and won't sell a whole set on Ebay again, It was 1/2 of what you had and took a couple of hours to pack. Overall They are hard to sell because you don't really have China set Collectors, People who buy whole set are going to use them, Sometimes a Dealer will buy them but they have to get them so cheap to make it worth there while. Over all I can pick up a Fancy china set for around $200.00 to $300.00 that size in the Antique mall or Consignment store, even less at a auction. Sad to say one can make more money by splitting the set up. If you have a big name like Wedgewood, Johnson Bros, Limoges and etc. and you have what is called Extra Fancy set, you will see it move faster and at greater price. Right now everybody has got a set from Grandma and just want to sell it, the market is full. What you have is Moderate name, Fancy set, if you place a $500.00 or more price tag on it, you will have it for some time until someone comes along and likes it, Then top off with bad economy well it is quite the challeange to sell a set of china right now.
