We came accross this can, first we thought a milk can, but it has a valve on the bottom and alignment holes and just don't look right for a milk can, any ideals

Ironlord I think you are right on with Milk can found a   PEACOCK DAIRIES, INC.    BAKERSFIELD, CAL.
Maybe the valve on the bottom and alignment holes have something to do with cream production??

I'm thinking that the can was designed for a milk machine as used in schools, etc. When delivered full of milk, there was a flexible hose clamped off, and stuffed in the opening at the bottom. After being set in the refrigerated dispenser, the hose was threaded through the weighted shutoff valve. Anyone else on here old enough to remember standing in line at the milk machine? (Once again, I'm dating myself.)

Cool and thanks for the comments, this will help us when posting, Looking at this we thought how could this be a milk can, cause it look so different.  Any other comments would be most welcomed.  Thanks from all of us at goodwill.
