According to my friend in Chinese Arts and Culture, the title on the bottom does claim it to be Quig dynasty, but the bottom appears to be glazed at the foot. The older pottery is usually unglazed where it sat on the kiln. There is lots of copies being made today, and they place the marks of the original piece, they say it is to honor the original piece, but according to my friend that is the excuse they use to sell us stuff and we think it is old.
