large jar ?

Can anyone recognize thiswith indistinct signature? The signature looks like a big key, and B 10? It is about 45 cm high and has a hole in the ground that it is a cork in?

So the cork end is actually the end it should sit on? The exact opposite of how it is pictured? Was this part of an old table lamp?

That's what I'm thinking of? but think it's an urn for if it were a lamp cord that were the way so it can not stand up straight! I believe that it is upside down in the photo

Looks like a Ginger Jar style lamp base !!  It would have a metal base that it would have sat in, and that is why there is no place for the electric cord !!  It would have continued down and come out from the bottom of the metal base !!
