Syrup pitcher - antique

This syrup pitcher is 8” high, …. with a spring loaded flip-top (see pic).

It has strawberries for a design, ……. and it has remnants of being painted, … maybe Goofus glass, ......... but am not sure because have never found a Goofus pattern to match it.

This pitcher belonged to the wife’s great-grandmother and that is all we know about it.

That's it, Sapphire, the pattern is identical.

And I know the lid on the wife's is the original lid.  

Thanks much, ..... that confirms her's as being Goofus Glass ...... even though it is not listed in her Rev. of a Goofus Glass book.

That reminds me of the time I had a couple pieces of Westmoreland "Blue Mist" on the table at a FM and a late 20'ish gal came by and asked about them and I told her what they were, ...... and showed her the W-over-the-G "mark". Well, she left, went out to her car, came back in, and in an irritated voice told me ...... "Those are not Westmoreland, ...... I just checked my Westmoreland Book and they are not listed".

And she wouldn't buy them either ..... and I just knew she was a collector of Westmoreland or she wouldn't have had a Book. She was probably sorry afterwards that she didn't because I priced them below Book.
