Hummel Plate - Crazing
« on: September 13, 2011, 06:06:17 pm »
Hi everyone,  Ok I received the Hummel plate back and have taken some pictures.  I never even noticed the crazing on the back - lighting in my house isn't great and I also didn't know what to look for.  I don't know if you can see it in these pics but I guess what I could use some help with is - how much this crazing depletes the value and what wording could I use so that I am not misrepresenting this item.

Thanks in advance everyone.

That's why I never even noticed it.  First I am new at all this but unless I inspected it under direct bright lighting I couldn't even find it.  Really hard to get it to even show up in pictures.    I think I am going to re-list it at the same starting bid of $39.95 and use mart's suggestion and put "minor crazing consistent with age" and post one of each of these pics.  I just don't want to misrepresent the item.  Is that acceptable?
