Federal Chair?
« on: October 01, 2011, 08:56:08 pm »
Got this from an elderly gentleman who claimed it belonged to his grandfather (not sure how HE acquired it).  He said he had been meaning to restore it himself for the last 30 years, but is now downsizing.  Looks like Federal era to me, but I would LOVE some opinions.

I feel like I'm always taking (asking) and never giving (answering) - but I do read all of the posts.  My knowledge of antiques is still growing, so I hope to be able to contribute more in the future.  Thanks to all of you (especially the hero members who have been looking out for me lately) for your patience.

First thought that came to me was Eastlake style. Wish I had more knowledge to share.

I'm going to try traditional first and see how it goes...
