I can't believe it. If you remember me saying I bought books from the historic society from the Schuylkill River Valley. The Eckert Family is listed. This was a big bottling area. The family could have moved and started the brewery. When George Washinton imposed new laws to register bottles this became a hostile time. The breweries up North wanted to create a rebellion. They were going to overturn the "Constitution". Thus, there was the "Whiskey Rebellion". The family could have moved north. Let me look and see.

Neither Eckert Family is connected to the brewery, but I found it interesting that one was a member of I.O.O.F.

I just started thing about the Eckerts. The hisoric book they are in has to do with Beer brewers.
