« on: December 12, 2011, 04:52:04 pm »
Hello All,

I'm looking for some help in pricing a US House of Representatives pewter ashtray/dish/bowl made by Wilton-Columbia. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Wilton Metalware can be found in abundance !! I have their candlesticks on my dining table !! They are the same people that make the cake pans and decorating equipment !! Located in Columbia, PA !! Didn`t look for value yet but they made all types of pewter items both decorative and commemorative !! It is not pewter as is commonly known even though that is what it is called, but a blend of metals with out the lead !! My candlesticks are wort about $25. and if I were guessing I would say your dish because it was made for the House of Representatives is probably about the same !! There were probably a bunch of those made !!

Wilton made a type of metal called Armetale, I have had a couple of wilton items, they sell really well, but like mart mentioned no for much, I don't think I got over $25.00 for any of them, but they did move quick.
