Could someone, please, help me? I have been trying to found out what a specific marking means. I bought a old burrette at a yard sale and I can not find anything on the marking on the back. It is I believe silver-plated. It has a very nice size onyx stone in the center. The clasp on the back is marked with a "D" in a square and says "MADE IN FRANCE..."! Yes, it even has the three periods after it says Made in France. The marking that I cannot find anything on is on the burrette itself. It is located on the back on the part of the burrette with the onyx setting. The marking is a circled "o". Could someone, please, let me know what this marking means and (if you know) about how old is this piece if it contains this marking?
