Louis Vuitton Trunk
« on: February 25, 2012, 08:50:54 am »
My dad bought this many years ago, he's since passed away and my mother is looking to sell it or atleast get a value on it.  We really dont have much information about it but know that it is quite valuable.  Do any of you know anything about these trunks or can lead me somewhere where I can find out more about it?

Thanks,  Here are some pics.

It's been a few years, but my Wife bought one just like that at a local weekend consignment auction. She had it verified by http://www.mypoupette.com, and listed it on eBay. It went to a buyer from Japan, for between $2500 - $3000 at the time.
You would have to check to see what the current on-line market is doing.

I would contact a reputable auction house to get a value & sell through them  such as Sotheby's or  Christie's auction house.

Good advice from the others!!!!
I'm from the South - but please don't mistake my Southern Manners/Accent/Charm as a weakness!
