1940's Monopoly and totopoly
« on: March 07, 2012, 10:05:31 am »
Are these games worth anything to a collector?

The monopoly has 6 wooden pieces instead of pewter as in the war materials were scarce. Rocking horse, boot etc

The totopoly has card horses and also dates from the second world war.

thanks

I sold a set of 4 different monopoly games online at goodwill and it had one 1960's version and it just crossed the $150.00.  So yes, these have value. If all pieces are there and condition including box is good.  I would say you will get over $100.00 on a good day on ebay, for it.  Would probably place a $200.00 value on it generally.
