Hi, the size is 5 cm x 4,7 cm (2" x 1.9") and the metal for mi is brass or withe metal. And the black material not sure is onyx.

In your second picture, can you read what is imprinted along the bottom?  Believe I'm seeing 'France' along the top.

Could you try tilting the brooch to see if you could get a clearer picture.  I played with it a bit but still can't make it out. Unless someone more familiar with jewelry makers recognizes the name.

Lanvin was popular during the 50`s and 60`s !! I remember some of our TV game shows of that period had them as sponsors !! They had a line of jewelry and perfume that I remember !! I am trying to remember the show  !! I just remember they said "made by Lanvin of Paris" when giving one of their items as a prize !!
