Unusual Vintage Pitcher from Spain?
« on: April 25, 2012, 07:52:26 am »
This is another recent purchase of a pitcher from Spain that I can't find. It's about 6 Inches in height and about 6 1/2 inches in width at it's widest point.

It seems to be  a gray stoneware and hand made. You can see swirls on the inside bottom and the the interior walls of the pitcher as if it was done on a potters wheel. There is an ink stamp on the bottom that says "Made in Spain" and the Number "50". It's my guess it may be a tourist piece from the 50's or 60's.

Does anyone have an idea of the vintage or age of this pitcher and who the artist, manufacturer or replication of the pitcher is?

Thanks!
Kevin
