Victor VV-80 ?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could give me an opinion as to the value of a Victor VV-80 phonograph with the serial number 88294.  From what I have found on the net, it was one of the more common ones made in 1925.

As you can see, the finish on the wood is pretty poor and it is missing one door.  It does work.  I'm guessing that with the finish and door missing, it's not worth much.  Thanks.

They used to sell in this region NJ for around 125.00 in pristine condition. Without the door it still has value to someone who restores them. Maybe 50.00. You have all the playing parts which is a plus. You may also find one is worse shape than yours that you can get the door from. They are fun to play and the records are cheap. It is worth restoring if you can find the door. They are out there.

I agree !!   $50. to $75. here,, perfect condition $125. to $150. in my area !!

Thanks for the info.  Not sure what I'm going to do with it.  I have no sentimental connection to it since I bought it in a yard sale.

I may just put it in our yard sale and sell it.

You know,, if you could remove the working part ( sell those to a restorer) that would make a neat looking bar !!  Wine storage where the doors are gone, liquor behind doors, small stuff in the top !!  Would be different !!
