Question About Antique Umbrella and Picture
« on: June 16, 2012, 08:57:43 am »
POSTED ORIGINAL IN WRONG PLACE SORRY

Hello all!

I am new to the forum and have a couple questions about some of my antiques. I have an OLD umbrella and an even OLDER picture that I have had for quite some time. I am curious as to how much they might be worth. I do not want to give how much I paid for them but I am looking to liquidate some things and these are first to go.

Please let me know...

OR

If you know a place I can take this stuff to get it appraised that will work too.

I live in Ohio and do not have any good antique dealers near me.

What you have is a parasol rather than an umbrella. Reenactors love these, I have two! They are neat but not terribly valuable. Generally about $40 to $150 depending upon condition and how attractive they are. If you go to Ebay and search for 'antique parasol' you'll get a good selection to compare to yours.
